Default My Pre-Recorded music - Would it benefit from EQing?

Hi, All:

A long time ago, before I knew much at all about EQing (I still have lots to learn) I started playing around with the instrument tracks that I buy for my music.

I uploaded a ZIP file of my next song, 'Impossible Dream' from Man of La Mancha'....

These instrument tracks are in MP3 format. I wish they were WAV, but, this is the way they come.

Anyway, the website claims that these are already 'processed' meaning EQ has already been applied. BUT, when I was playing with them before I was able to get more clear detail out of the sounds. In other words, to me, as-is, they sound kind of 'flat'. But, with a little EQ, to me they sound just a bit better.

Now, many people say, 'It depends on what your going for'.......

All I'm asking here is if in your opinion if I would benefit from EQing these tracks by EQing them a bit, or, would it be best to leave them 'as-is'?

Here is the Dropbox link to the ZIP file with all the instruments.

Please note the following about the file names:

For example: 1-198-G#-DRUM.mp3
2-198-G#-TMP.mp3

To understand these filenames,

-The 1 and 2 at the beginning is the position in order the track belongs.
-The second number, in this case 198, refers to the songs record number in my database of my songs.
-Third is the key of the song, this one being G#.
-Last is the name of the instrument. I have assigned abbreviations to each instrument
