Default Edit audio loop after gluing?

I took a kick one shot wav and put one at beat one of measures 1 and 2. I then dragged the volume down on measure 2. Then I glued to time selection and dragged to repeat over the section. Now that i have more of the mix put together, I'd like to give that measure 2 beat a little more volume. How do I do this?

Also, is there a different way to do this whole thing in the future to make it easier to adjust thimgs like this afterward?

you could add a volume envelope, or maybe better still, an automation item.

In this specific case, i'd probably be inclined to use an automation item for the volume from the beginning, and copy pooled versions whenever i copy / duplicate the audio item.
