Figures it out, have to increase the max dB value to 18 (+6).
Another question: My screen has 1080 vertical pixel, but the maximized mixer will still have a windows title bar at the top. So the effective size of the mixer will be a bit less than 1080. Is this still okay for the theme? Or will I miss something?

Weird setup forced by a weird scale. I much prefer to have a console like setup. My faders and meters are set to work as a console do (analog or digital). And the graticule scale made to match the fader values. This way you can face Reaper, or a hardware mixer, or a hardware controller (HUI or whatever with feedback) and they all behave the same not needing to guess what the heck is going on within Reaper. Makes some sense to me.
It's nice to have choices.

I don't know if there is a way to remove the window margins and decorations in Win. I guess there should be a way. Google it. In Linux you can do that, but no idea about Win.

How to make the folder indicators work in the MCP? They work fine in the TCP, but in the MCP, the green ones for the folder parents are not showing!
Is this a bug?

How do you make track folders with this theme? With the original there is an icon to click on the bottom right side of the track. There appears to be no such icon in this theme. I'm not sure how to do it from the menu; I wouldn't mind just right clicking on a track to make it a subtrack of a folder but I'm not sure where the option is.

Little detail but it affects functionality in WT Imp..
Take a look at my transport bar loop numbers. Why aren't they in three lines as advertised? I've fiddled the all the fonts I can find and they don't change.
Is it because I'm on mac (10.6.8)? What'll fix this?

Oh, you're using the compact transport... I just tried and I get the same (and I'm on OSX too, but I'm not sure it's related). You can just use the normal transport...

I don't have any SWS or Xenakios actions in my macro list, is that something I need to download and install separately? I guess I'll google for that, thanks for the tip!
Edit: I figured it out, their site was down for updates and I had to install Python but it seems that everything is working as expected now, thanks for helping me out

I discovered this theme just an hour ago and was so bloody impressed I had to find the thread dedicated to it (because I knew there just had to be one) and post my appreciation to the master creator(s).
This Theme (so much so that it must receive a capital 'T') is absolutely magnificent.
This work of art just draws me in to the DAW so incredibly well I felt like Sam from Tron Legacy.
It's not just the best UI for Reaper - it is THE best UI I have ever seen on any DAW anywhere - so much so that I now seriously feel like porting my Ableton projects over to Reaper just so that I can enjoy tweaking them more.
My most heartfelt thanks to Whitetie - and PLEASE - keep up the fantastic work.

I was so blown away by the Theme that I completely forgot about F11 - and bam! - even better. (using dual 27" 1080p screens here)
Unbelievable.

After some considerable time of playing bout with Imperial.
I have decided I really don't like the way the track controls are laid out.
Large amounts of real estate with tiny knobs and buttons scattered over it just does not go with the elegance of the rest of this theme.
Not to detract from White Tie's work, but....

Mr. Tie,
Will Imperial be compatible with future versions, or if not, may I respectfully, while on my hands and knees, beg you to please port this forward whenever you feel motivated to do so?
I will very much want to upgrade to a future version when it is released, but I have been using Imperial for almost 3 years now and it is very much part of the way I work.
Thanks for any consideration you give to this humble request.

Very pleased to hear you're getting good use out of the theme.
Please don't talk about non-release versions outside the pre forum. We've had many examples in the past of non forum-regulars ( or 'normal people' ) getting confused about which version is current, which they should be using, what functionality they should expect. Moreover, there is always the possibility that something you might see in a pre release will never make to to a full release. Uncommon, but it happens.
On a broadly conceptual level, R always maintains backwards compatibility with old themes, they might just miss new stuff.

There's another theme for the smaller monitor resolutions right there in the Imperial page. When you mouse over the Download, you will be asked about the monitor resolution. If you press No, you will get a download of WT_Dead_Ringer_Colonial_4000XL_PRO.

Subfolfers
hey there good people...i am using the Dead Ringer Colonial 4000 theme...my question is how do i get subfolders within a subfolder. I have managed to figure out using SWS actions how to get parent/child folders but what happenes if i want more "parent" folders within an already "parent" folder...ie backvox buss group within vox buss?
Hope this makes sense!
Awesome theme BTW!!

Info in the theme site:
"This theme requires you to create or modify your folder hierarchies using the TCP 'drag&drop' technique."
Greetings.

Hi all!
One question...i see there is a folder mod for WT Imperial that can be downloaded.
"Simple modification of the WT Imperial Theme ( http://www.houseofwhitetie.com/reape...perial.html)to use classic Reaper folders "
Is there any such mod for the Dead Ringer Colonial 4000XL PRO theme ie the "smaller screen" version?
If not, is there a "simple" way for me to do the mod?
I love the theme! But the way the parent/child folders operate are impacting my workflow a little too much!

You mean something like in FolderWT_Imperial?
https://stash.reaper.fm/theme/1355/Fo...ReaperThemeZip
Can surely be done to Dead Ringer too, but the complexity of it depends on what you consider simple. If you can open both Reaper themes (FolderWT_Imperial and Dead Ringer Colonial), copy few images from the previous to the latter theme and change couple of lines in the rtconfig file, that's all there is to it.
More specifically, you'll need to copy (overwrite) the following images from the FolderWT_Imperial into Dead Ringer Colonial:
folder_end.png
folder_indent.png
folder_start.png
tcp_idxbg.png
tcp_idxbg_sel.png
Then find the following lines from the rtconfig of Dead Ringer Colonial and change them as shown below:
Code:
;set tcp.margin +:folderdepth:1 [-18]
set tcp.foldercomp + cm [4 5 14 14 0 0 0 0]
;set tcp.folder + cm folderstate==0 [0] + * folderdepth [18] [-14 5 14 14 0 0 0 0]
If you want to try this, make a (renamed) copy of the Dead Ringer Colonial theme first and work with that one instead of the original.

Rtconfig file as well as all the images are inside the zipped theme package. Notice how the theme files are named xxx.ReaperThemeZip? Rename to xxx.ReaperTheme.Zip and you should be able to open up the theme packages.

Thank you xpander!!!..ok i have found the lines and made the changes, added the images..but, obviously i cannot just click the icon, because in reaper the theme still has the old folder setup...
i have looked at your link (thank you) but still a little confused (sorry) How do i "pack" the files together...if i zip them i just get a zipped file that i have to unzip again?
the image shows what i now have...

I am still not getting the faders.
So, when I set the max to 18db (instead of the default 12db), my 0db is at the largest mark on the fader strip. I guess that is the idea, right?. However, I then do not get what the other marks mean. The first mark above 0db seems to be 3.66, then 7.41, then 11 and then 14.9.
This seems very weird to me. Why so odd marks? Are those significant numbers in audio engineering for some reason?
Or am I still having the wrong setting?
EDIT: Just realized that the marks are also different between the master fader and the track faders. What I reported above was for the master fader. For the track fader the numbers are: 3.36, 7.27, 10.9 and 14.9
