Default Missing FX (fresh install of Nov 23)

Hi all,

I'm trying to introduce my brother-in-law to Reaper. However, hes on a Mac and all my experience is with the PC version. He installed it fine and it works, but when I hit the FX button on a track there are no effects listed - not even the standard ReaComp, etc.

Anyone know what the problem might be? I'm not familiar enough with OSX to troubleshoot (I used Terminal to browse the REAPER application directory, and also pointed the Prefs at a VST plugin directory in the Library, but neither of those shots in the dark helped =]).

Any suggestions appreciated...

Thx!

grib.

Default SOLVED

Turns out we just screwed up the install. Delete and re-install (properly) fixed it.

However, the MacOSX version seems to be missing some important stuff:

* Mixer section (I couldn't find it, at least)
* VU meters (during playback)
* Rewire support

...or am I just an idiot, and couldn't work out where these things are. Lack of a mixer seems... weird =]
