Dear Cockos,

I installed this version on my macbook retina and the texts in ruler, toolbar buttons and item labels are all blurry again, while this was fixed in some previous dev- versions.

Can you plz tell me when the fix will be implemented for good ?

I was wondering this too - I'm still using dev1118 for this reason. Is the development chain with all the lovely HiDPI/Retina fixes no longer being developed now? This release has no pre/dev build number though so perhaps this is separate? I'll openly admit I'm still not 100% sure how this works.

Check the change log, do you see anything that suggests its been added to this release? FWIW, I searched the release changelog for 'HiDPI' and newest entry was from v5.97-February 21 2019, so what you're asking about is most likely still only available in the pre-release version.

Thanks for your help but i guess the question for Joe90 and myself is why the
HiDPI/Retina fix is removed from this version while it seems a definete, working fix and a most utterly welcome fix for HiDPI/Retina users.

I think Edgemeal is saying that it hasn't been removed as such - 5.987 is not actually the next pre-release or development version, it's the next release version that's been uploaded early here for testing, so it's technically still behind the dev versions in terms of progress.

If the new HiDPI stuff hasn't made it into the full version yet then that's understandable, these things take time. My concern was that it had been abandoned altogether, which I know is a risk we take when we get attached to certain features from a certain dev version!

There are a whole lot of features in the +dev builds that are not yet in the release builds, including the new retina/hidpi support.

The select all feature(CMD+A) in the Project Directory Cleanup window is still not working. Stopped working since version 5.985.

Is it a bug or was it purposely removed?

Thank you.

I noticed that too.

Me too. I use it constantly and its sucks having to manually scroll down the whole list and shift click to select all.

In Windows system, it now works like this: Ctrl+Shift+A, Try other key combinations

Many Thx for the tip ! 🙏🏼👌🏼

Just tried SHIFT+CMD+A on mac and it works.(also in v6rc).
Totally clueless however why Cockos changed this key shortcut...
Would rather use the good o'l CMD+A.

I, too, agree, that the conventional Ctrl+A should be used.

Ctrl+A works as expected here, UNLESS there is a file name in the list that starts with the letter 'A', then only that file gets selected!

EDIT Fixed in v6.0 RC4

Yeah, I'd consider that a bug.
