You will probably need to have your music hosted on a website that does not require a login to listen. Lots of people will not login to a site to listen to posted music.

The problem is with the direct link. I see the songs, but streaming hangs and download requires login. If I go to the website homepage I can navigate to a song, and it will stream. However, I cannot find your music when I search the forum.

^ This, and to be thorough, it hung for me in three different browsers (Chrome, FF and IE).

keep in mind what you are asking is very subjective.. and full range just means full spectrum (normally 25hz to over 20kz), not fidelity..

So you need to give more info on what you are looking to accomplish sonically in a creative sense.

Not sure why you are not looking for mastering advise when you infact are..

I hear ya, and its good your asking questions!! There is a few terminology things I should address here.

there is no reason to be concerned about "Broadcast". they will manipulate the audio to there needs right before transmission.. Its always ideal to just give the best dynamic audio quality possible for them, because it will just get down sampled for efficacy. and in most cases heavily compressed by the broadcast process.

Home theatre usually means systems that can handle dynamics. and sharp transient events, or volume spikes. So overly limited loud masters will not be able to take advantage of the systems head room and ability to recreate large amounts of dynamic range. witch is common In movies.

So why the loudness war? why is it happening..

Its from the low end mp3 player, cell phone and cheap labtop/computer market... witch are usually used with a cheap 5$ dac, cheap ear buds or 2$ speakers that sometimes are mono and designed for human voice.. witch is nothing even close to fidelity!

(I hate earbuds BTW, and most ear buds at loud levels will cause hearing damage!, most head phones in general are prone to this inafct..)

So in this low quality market where users are enjoying a shuffle list is where this is taking place. Most all of these players are unable to recreate emotional small dynamic events. So the loudness war continues and thrives.. because there is a general fact that the louder usually most consumers like it more.. witch largely has to do with how human hearing works. And lack of knowledge of how to use a volume knob.

There are some people that actually love the sound of the distortion coming from there crap player.. Or phase manipulation from a sound bar stereo effect. Just look at how popular that big brand name that start with B and end with a e is.. most of their products straight up change the sound..

Its shame really, but right now there is nothing that will stop it.. its hear for a while. So it true we live in a age where mastering is very important, mixes must translate the best we can get it!! (witch is a whole topic in itself)

So what you really want is to just make the music to sound the best for what you are trying to achieve. Balance wise. this is genera dependent.. the louder the better, but do not compromise the dynamics and lose emotion just to get a few more db.. and keep in mind overly dynamic music can be distracting!! this is where mastering comes into play.. Balance is key to life and music production..

Knowing you target audience is imperative!!

I have not listened to the songs yet, I will comment in a later post! I was typing this while rendering a project..

At this point it may be ideal for you to upload the wave file to drop box (free)or something similar.. then post the link so we can hear cd quality files or better the 24bit production files.

The links in the thread do not work me as well..

Broadcast is not the same as streaming..
Streaming sites are basically 128kb mp3 files (every site uses a different encoder but is similar).. witch do not have the dynamics and high frequency of a good cd..

absolutely there is a lot to take into consideration with audio production, But keep asking questions.. don't give up (Never!)time is your friend..

Post new links. So I can have perspective of what's going on..

Youtube is modern streaming (down sampled when uploaded) not what most in the industry consider as "broadcast".. time warner tv or clear channel radio is.. normally mixed to run threw a orban optimod broadcasting compressor. Witch is completely different and incomparable.. It requires a completely different engineering approach.

But in this thread I was distinguishing the terminology differences..

I have not placed judgment on anything. I have not been able to play any of your songs.. I am simply going off of the text you are leavening here..

My main thought is you listen to a lot of unmastered mixes, I cant make those comparisons, also I lost all objectivity on these mixes 40 versions ago.

Things may work out but it doesn't seem possible I will be allowed to share these songs
Just make them the way you picture the song sounding, But yes I would always mix with headroom never with a mixbuss brick wall limiter.. that is always the very last thing.. and should be reserved for the mastering phase..

I absolutely hear lots of raw mixes. My workstation is extremely dynamic and honest.. This enables me to make judgment on what I hear. And my passion for music guides me to make musical decision on what could be improved sonically..

hear to help with what I can..
