Default WaveLab Theme??

I wont begin to pretend I know anything about making themes...I'm just not that bright! but, I do love the Reaper....and the WaveLab.... would love to see a theme that uses two colors for stereo tracks...Left blue, right red..... can this be done?? without using mono tracks and panning left and right?

No it's not possible with the current theming system. I am confused why you would want it. The top waveform is the left and the bottom is right. Simple. Anyway...

It may be possible with version 3 as you can now add images as backgrounds, but the waveforms would still be one colour. Red and blue backgrounds would definitely give you the differentiation you are looking for.

version 3 alpha is available here and in the pre-release section of the forum:

Thanx...it's just what I'm used to seeing... I used the Orban DSE and Audicy for 10 years....(blue/red) When I had to make a move I was attracted to WaveLab (Also blue/Red) I'm sure I can get used to any color...was just wondering if it was possible?

Thanx again!!

I tried it and it is possible to get the background blue/red, but everything now had a blue/red background (eg. mono tracks, midi...). So it really defeats the purpose. I recommend you just bite the bullet and learn the Reaper way.

Honestly, there is a wisdom in Reaper. This is a DAW made by a genius and his hand picked crew along with this amazing forum of perfectionists. Yes,the book is being re-written here and there, but it's for a better future.

I have a dream...
