Default video window missing....

hi there,

is it only me, or any of you also missing the video window in reaper 5.03
i am running win10 and just upgraded to 5.03
since then i am unable to open video files of any kind....

or Ctrl+Shift+V or something.

my older projects using video are opened with the message that media are missing and after checking the available codec info i get this:
Video decoder information not available, is reaper_video installed?

and yes, i have vlc 64 bits installed on my 64 bits system.....chunked all the ffmpeg libs in the plugin folder as well. i am a bit baffled now,

Perhaps you muted the track?

This disables video. You should lower its volume instead.

the problem starts before: in my dropdown menu under view there is no such thing as a video window, please see the attachment.
do i need to install an extra plugin or something?

It is an option, when installing Reaper, to install video support or not. Maybe you unticked this during installation?
