Default Using Other Soft-synths with USB Installation

I would like to use Reaper as a self contained standalone solution for my midi performances as the software I use to edit and play the tracks and would like to do so from my USB drive only. That way I do not have to lug around any extra equipment to rehearsals etc.. just plug it into any available computer and I am ready to go. I have grown accustom to using GM for my sequencing and would like to stay with that and I have several GM softsynths installed on my desktop computer such as the Edirol sound canvas etc.. which is good enough for what I plan to use this for. Is there anyway to move the softsynth to the USB drive so it will be useable in reaper without installing the softsynth everywhere I go (without registration entries etc…)? The current solution I have is using timidity++ on the drive but I would like to have the same quality and sounds on all systems I am working with.

Thanks
