Pow! There I was thinking it was just more theming updates, and he sneaks 2+ new effects into Reaper!

So understated our Justin...

Default Congratulations Reaps

This puts the whole of Reaper in perspective. It does have great upgrades. Not only is this one to the core (and some really good ones in the core)but whole new plugs which means features really to try out.

I have never seen a naysayer say anything logical to meet the fact that Reaper updates are so frequent and so useful. Someone once complained about having to change his work system so often but that was missing the whole point as the work system pretty much has stayed the same with subtle (and massive) improvements.

Amen! ReaXComp is truly wonderful ... a multiband compressor just waiting to be slotted into pride of place in my mastering chain!

I love that new multiband compressor.
tips: Shift click and drag a node to adjust the ratio; alt-click and drag to adjust the gain.

I would be interested in seeing the results using span to test the accuracy of its band selection.

Also like the Reaverbate (need to test that a little bit more though.

great update!

MB compressor looks very neat. Reverb seems to fall short of Freeverb derivatives eg Freeverb2, but it's probably handy for newbies to begin with. The "size" control seems to have all the handy stuff right at the top end of its travel. Nice surprise to have these new tools, though.

nitpick: "ReaXComp" would sound better to me (to go "conform" with "ReaComp". so that both use "C" in upper-case.
