Track Manager --- My Wish
so we all love the track manager.... however I REALLY wish it had one more feature [maybe it does so tell me if I missed it]
I wish we could set the TCP and MCP visible\invisible and then save that to a 'preset'... sort of like how the screensets work...
Why? OK, imagine lotta tracks with VCA's, FX Busses, etc. and you want to for a time show only certain ones in the MCP... say just the bass and drums... and maybe even you want to mute the vocals and guitars as well... but just for a few minutes to work on them...
...and then later you want to do that showing only the vocals with everything else muted...
As it is now you have to keep making those changes in the Track Manager...
IF we could save some as user defined presets [call it what you will] you would only have to set up what you wanted one time and could recall it or any other preset with a single clk or even a hot key...
What do YOU think?

I wish that script had options for toggle show/hide and hide :P

If I want to see vocal tracks only I type in'voc', and so on.

More options are always a plus.
I forget what the existing behavior is, but you want it extended to "Show only...", "Show all except...", "Toggle only...", right?

This is what I use, it don't save the track layouts but it faithfully saves and restores the projects solo and mute states.
I can't tell you how often I use this toolbar, it's a lot.
