Visualization of plugins and actions on waveform

I'm coming in from Audition CC. On that software, when a plugin is configured and enabled on a track, the waveform in the track was visually altered, both in Peaks view and Spectral editing view. I found it helpful, personally.

Is there an equivalent, or any plans for similar in Reaper?

You will need to offline render (or record in real time) the audio manually to see how the processed waveform looks like. There hasn't been any indication Reaper would be working otherwise in the near future.
