Default Reaper CPU usage and Activity Monitor..

Hi !

I have a Reaper project open on my macbook pro late 2011.
Running OSX 10.9.4 and Reaper 4.73pre 3. (64bit)
I have it idle for some hour and suddenly, macbook fans start kicking in and make quite alot of fan noise now.

I look at Reaper's Performance window: about 8 % CPU.
I open Activity Monitor and see: about 60% CPU usage.

- Why are my fans start kicking after i have let Reaper idle for an hour ?
- Why this difference between CPU read outs ?

Scratching my head.

What process does Activity Monitor say is using up all the CPU? (Make sure you check "all processes", and not just "my processes" - it could be a system process taking up the power.)
