Default Main toolbar

Since version 5.40 the main toolbar doesn't break in two lines like it used to do until version 5.35 when the UI is scaled to 0.9.

I know this is an "experimental" feature, but it has worked like a charm for years and years...

Is there a configuration that could force it to break?
If not, could you make it back the way it used to be?

Thanks!

The width of the track panel shown at the top is smaller than the one shown at the bottom in your screenshot.
So have you already tried to drag the right track panel edge to the left until the toolbar breaks into 2 lanes?

What happens when you try to drag the right track panel edge to the left? Like does the toolbar gets overlapped by the right window?

Otherwise what settings are you currently using under Preferences > General > Advanced UI/system tweaks (can you please also post a screenshot)?

Are you on Windows or macOS?
And which Reaper version are you currently using?

Yes, it doesn't break, regardless of the width.

Here my UI settings:

With REAPER 5.40 and above it overlaps the toolbar.

Have you also already checked if it's the same (in a portable install) with the latest version 5.91?

OK, I just did a quick test with 5.40 and 5.91 and it's the same here (Windows 10 - 64 bit).

I guess it's probably best to add a Bug Report about this: https://forum.cockos.com/forumdisplay.php?f=22

I can confirm that nothing helps.
It is rather a bug/broken thing.

I guess I just might have found something:

When dragging the top edge of the first track down (in order to make the ruler height bigger), then the toolbar 'lane-break' seems to work again ...
