Default please help... something ugly happening

Hey all, I don't know what is going on here and a little help would be welcome.

Please have a look at this screenshot: http://files.dmusic.com/music/t/a/ta...uffle_1gb_.jpg
Specifically at transport control button icons and the mixer (detached scroll left). Notice the input monitor icon -- well all with icons on the mixer, none of them display properly. and If I choose other icon sets available, then the Icons in the TCP also display incorrectly. with choppy borders and rogue colors showing through.

any ideas as to why this may be?

cheers,
T

This will happen on windows 2000 ime, because the icons also include an alpha channel and they use that instead of the 32-bit icon graphic

or something like that

Do you have the same problem in other programs or just reaper?
