Multiple impulse responses Reaverb
Hi guys hopefully you can help me,
I have downloaded the impulse responses from the bricasti m7. I want to load them into Reaverb, but per pre-set there are 3 impulse responses. One for left, right and middle.
So my question is do I load all three impules in one instance of Reaverb, or do I load each impulse in a different plug-in and pan them accordingly to the name (left, right, middle)?
see attached a screenshot of how all the pre-sets look like.
Thanks for you help!

All these impulses are stereo, meaning that they provide a two channel output from a single channel input.
The left, right and middle files denote the position of the sound source they are created with.
Now ReaVerb also mixes together the input channels to feed the impulse engine. Hence for common use the "middle" file will be best.
You can create a "true stereo" reverb with two instances of ReaVerb loaded with the "left" and one with the "right" file.

The one labeled "M to S" is Mono to Stereo and is the one you normally want to use.
The Left and Right ("L" & "R") are for a true stereo reverb.

Thanks a lot Micheal and Tod
Just one additional question,
If I want to make a "True stereo" reverb, I put the "L" and "R" in different instances of ReaVerb, but do I load them on different tracks, or can it be on the same?
In addition, do I pan "L" to the left in ReaVerb and "R" to the right?
Thanks!

Can be done in a single thread using "Pin routing" (blowing up the track to 4 channels intermediately). Route "L" to both inputs of one instance of ReaVerb and "R" to both inputs of the other then route the L-outs of both to L-in of the next plugin and R-out to R-in of same (you need to put some plugin after the two ReaVerb). No "PAN" tweaking necessary.
On top of this, you can link the wet and dry sliders of the ReaVerbs if you want to.

Here's an old thread I started concerning this very thing. I also have a link to a Track Template and a FX-Chain for True Stereo ReaVerb.
