You've realized very creative scripts but I have trouble with NR VIP.
I've used NR with success, works fine. The NR VIP version does not: Karaoke does not work (sometimes suddenly it worked...). Text wrap does not work. Display Next Item Overlaps actual text I expected same behavior as the non vip version.
What did possible go wrong?
Is there any documentation on how to use this script?

font size must be >0(auto) for text wrap to work.
Maybe you can send me a sample project with karaoke so I can have a look and see if it works?
for the karaoke, you need to add a karaoke track with syllable items. The track has to be the next track below the NR track. So, the karaoke is not automatic. But it is easy to do, there are included scripts in NR to split the items into word items. Select the karaoke track, and select the items to split in the NR track. Then it generates all the words as new items in the karaoke track, and then if you need to split a word into syllables, there is another script to do that, where you split them inserting spaces when it asks. Search for "HeDa split" in the actions window to find the splitting scripts.
Then it is a matter of adjusting a bit the items start and end, to sync the syllables to the audio and you have the karaoke track ready.

It would be useful I think, for a better understanding, if the title of each window of "Note Reader" (in the "Actions" menu VIP, VIP_2nd, VIP_3rd) could correspond to the number of the script by becoming for example :
HeDa_Notes Reader VIP (1)
HeDa_Notes Reader VIP 2nd
HeDa_Notes Reader VIP 3rd
For the moment, they all have the same title:
HeDa_Notes Reader VIP v2.0 pre7

Your recent update causes a fatal error, it causes laggy mouse activities when Note Reader is activated. Click, Drag ... things are very difficult and the delay is very high. extremely bad. I can barely work with the mouse when I turn it on

Same Here, Also when is activated you cannot resize track heights or move it up and down with the mouse
I don't see the issue and I don't know why the latest update would cause something like this.
It would help a sample project and settings file _Settings_NotesReader.cfg so I could try to reproduce the issue.

This is why there is Notes Reader 1, 2, and 3... each one should have its own settings and window position.
Maybe you can use Notes reader 1 in one project and notes reader 2 in another project... etc..
Also, you can create more files.. Notes Reader 4, 5.. etc.. by copying "HeDa_Notes Reader VIP.lua" to the Notes Reader Settings folder, renaming it and editing the sectionname and instancename inside them. Then add it manually to the actions window as any other script.

one tip, if there are gaps between items, in order to display the "next item" after a gap or before the first item in the track, you can create empty items without any text right before the items. There is a "Fill gaps" command in the right click menu that does this automatically, but it is not needed to fill the entire gap if you don't want to display the next item during the entire gap, but the end of the empty item must be the same as the start of the next item.

The track ahs an item inside the NOTE there is the text. Items are Empty Items
Using Split Syllables, when the words are put in overlay to the original ones (to cover them) the spaces are not respected and it results in a quite cluttered situation.
Transparent window doesn't return a transparent window at all

Background images use another track with items that specify the images, but as text notes of the full path of the jpg or png image files. Not using the image background of the item. Maybe I can make it use the item images if there is interest.

About the images: not clue in which way to do it. Since items have the possibility to get an image in the NOTE field. But I 've made this on the Lyrics Items without being successful: your script doesn't show the image ... see screenshot ...

yes I load the pictures in the only one way possible so the path is absolute

It works. TO move the window in transparent mode, on W11, just I click into it keeping it clicked and dragging

That is not working as I intended. I wanted just the letters with a transparent background. I'll fix it again. Right now it is only working when the background color is black.

What about the other issues? Did you have time to check if I'm doing something wrong or if there is any issues due versioning?

I tried again and again I then all of sudden just for a case it worked. I found why: I selected the track not the items.
This because the returned error said "SetOnlyTrackSelected".
So=: my fault. My Apoloigze.
Last thing last is the Karaoke setup that is deleting the space, provoking the misalignment you spotted on the animated GIF i posted

Split Sentences.
andatory: end a sentence with a Period OR with Pipe.
To what does it serve?
In case of Dubbing.
The Assistant creates and Item and put the text should be spoke int the session.
NOW
Then he/she has to divide by sentences and then creates item after item
WITH THE FR
he/She creates only one Item
PAstes the whole block into it.
Click on HeDa Split Sentences
Automatically the items are generated containing only the required sentence.

there is the script "Script: HeDa_Import TXT to Text Items.lua"
It imports a text file into sentences items. Each line in the text file will be an item. So you can edit the text file in an editor first entering new lines for each sentence if needed.
I have not been able to look into the space issue when splitting, but in my initial tests it was working without causing a mess.
. It is cool to see the scripts in a video.
