Default Please confirm: no access to iCloud on MacOS via REAPER?

Problem: all file dialog windows on macOS Big Sur (maybe others too) hide the `iCloud` Folder from the sidebar, making it impossible to access files stored there.
This IMHO is a major problem, for iCloud being a much used alternative to dropbox etc. for many mac users.

How to reproduce:
1) open the File/Open project window
2) compare the sidebar to the one of your finder

I had iCloud disabled in the Finder and didn't get iCloud drive access in Reaper's "Open file" dialog.

After enabling it in the Finder, it also shows in Reaper.

BUT: I'm on High Sierra, with Reaper 6.13/64.

So this smells more of an Apple/Big Sur bug than a Reaper bug?

Default Same problem here, and I use iCloud for everything

I have the same issue. I use the recent places drop down and usually there’s an iCloud folder in there that I can use to find my way to the folder I want. This is definitely a hassle and iCloud Drive should definitely be visible in the file picker, but at least there’s a workaround.

iCloud is for certain NOT disabled in Finder on my machine. It is my primary storage location for almost everything I do.

Is there any update to this problem?

Ever since I updated to Big Sur (from High Sierra) I'm having this problem!

Add a folder inside of your iCloud Drive to your sidebar favorites, then you'll be able to access your iCloud docs. Just open iCloud Drive and drag a folder that lives in there to your Favorites.
