Default Render and mute question

I have looked for an answer...maybe this is not possible but I'm sure it must be....I have a track where some areas are muted. When I render, I get a stem with the whole thing - the muted areas are back! How do I render and reflect the areas I muted?

Ta!

You mean to say that the areas you muted are no longer muted, and the audio is playing in those sections?

Exactly how are you muting those sections, and exactly how are you rendering?

Solved....like an idiot I was rendering the master mix, not Stems....I've done it loads of times but usually I use a preset I created which selects stems.... but on this occasion, for no reason, I didn't! **faceplant**
