Default Plug-in help :(

Hi!

I'm having a very basic problem that is irritating. I'm running Mac OS X 10.5 with latest version of reaper. I'm trying to install plugins from a "Computer Music" special magazine although when I install them into my vst folder (and required component folder) there are not "auto detecting" within reaper. When I "add" one in on my own I can search for the plug in but it is greyed out.

What could my problem be here?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks,
Jason

Just wanted to add my story.

A month a go I installed some Computer Music plug-ins on a fairly new computer and Reaper wouldn't recognize. Then tried with an older computer which had an older version of Reaper on it and Reaper loaded them perfectly.

However, I was running PC's with XP. But as an important side note, it wasn't just Reaper that didn't see the plugs on the newer computer as I had Samplitude installed with same issue. I never bothered to isolate the problem.
