Default Any way to get Logic Express Instruments into Reaper?

I'm liking some the instruments in Logic Express and just wondering if there's any way to get them into Reaper. I'm using some samples through the EXS24 sampler in Logic Express and sure would rather use them in Reaper. Anything like the EXS24 in Reaper?

Logic instruments are strictly Logic-only. There's sadly no advanced sampler included in Reaper either. (There is ReaSamplomatic, though, which might do for some limited sampling tasks.) I don't know what's the situation with freeware/cheap sampler instrument plugins on Mac OS-X.

You can run Logic alongside Reaper and pipe the audio using Soundflower.

Unless I'm missing something, there's no way to play the instrument (and hear it) in Logic while recording in Reaper without huge latency using Soundflower.

Soundflower is darn reliable in my (and many others') experience. I say this just so you know it is worth troubleshooting. There are many composer streaming multiple VI's external to their sequencer using Soundflower (so they don't have to re-load samples when changing projects, for one reason).

If you launch the application (over and above the drivers...see the applications/soundflower) you'll see a little flower up in the menu bar, from which you can adjust the buffer size (512 the default). You'll want to set this and the applications' buffers reasonably low (256 or 128, or 64 if your system can handle it) for real-time input.
