Default Editing the colour of the Piano Roll background in a theme...?

I downloaded the DarkSide Imperial theme and I really like it.
However, there's just one thing I'd like to change about it: the background of the piano roll is too dark blue. I want to make it a touch lighter.

I looked at the sticky on this forum but I think its outdated. Its saying open it in Notepad and edit the appropriate colour. The Theme files are not text files these days.

So, is it possible to edit that colour value?

You should be able to tweak those colours (there's more than one as you'll see) from Actions > Theme development/tweaker.

Themes consist of a rtconfig.txt file and images, the .ReaTheme filetype is just a renamed zip containing those.

Unfortunately the MIDI Piano key color either for the flats/sharps or the naturals are only changing the color of the text, but not the background of the keys itself. Can you guys help me? I just don't find it for the background...

MIDI piano key colors found on theme tweaker work only if the given theme doesn't have specific piano key images. If theme uses those images, you would have to either remove or edit them instead. Those images are piano_black_key.png, piano_black_key_sel.png, piano_white_key.png and piano_white_key_sel.png. They are inside the theme resource folder.

Instructions on how to unpack the theme, so that you can get to those images are here; Common tweaks to a REAPER theme.
