Send MIDI CC to arranger keyboard
Hello Everyone, could you please help me with a question on Reaper?
I'm new here and I don't speak English, so I'm using the translator to help me with this task
I currently have a Yamaha PSR S670 arranger keyboard.
It is already correctly connected with Repaer, and I can even send MIDI CC commands from Reaper to the keyboard, to change timbres, during the execution of a VS, for example.
To do this, I made a midi track where I will send the CC commands, exchange during the execution of VS
However, my question is simple, at least for me as I am new to this subject:
What I want is to send a command to activate and/or stop the keyboard rhythm.
Is there such a possibility?

Very likely this is possible.
You need to read the keyboard's Documentation and find "Midi implementation" to see what it can send and receive.
Regarding Reaper:
What do you want to perform to have Reaper send such a message ?

First I would like to thank you for your interaction!
I use a track in reaper to send this command.
As I said above, I can already send the tone change commands, and the s670 recognizes these commands, but I can't make it activate the rhythm with the CC 49

Does that mean it is recorded in a midi item ? (BTW.: Reaper does not feature "Midi tracks", as any track can hold Midi items and any track can be used to route Midi).

I'll try to find something manual.
But I've seen some people saying it would be impossible.

Sorry if I can't speak correctly.
I'll try to explain:
1 - I made the connection settings for my arranger keyboard with Repaer;
2 - I added a track (MIDI) to my Playback project, where I wrote commands for changing timbres.
These commands are in positions in the song where I need a specific timbre.
Ex: CC Bank Select 14-bits (0/32) and PC 0-113-2
When I press "play" (space bar) on playback (Reaper) and go through this point on the MIDI track, it changes the timbre on my keyboard.
This is correct!
I can do it now!
What I want now is:
In addition to timibre changes,
activate the keyboard's Start/Stop, causing it to start and stop the rhythm at certain points on the track

Seemingly the keyboard does not feature starting and stopping as a reaction to CC Midi message, but you need to send timing messages.
This might be a bit complicated. Of course this is very uncommon, as the timing of the keyboard might be out of sync with the timing of the reaper project.
I see two ways:
- In the midi editor "Event List" such messages can be inserted.
- A JSFX plugin can be found or created that converts CC messages in the appropriate timing messages.

With your help, I found something about the "SysEx" command. What I'm still trying is how to get this sent from Repaer to the keyboard.

The commands are hexadecimal... I don't know how to send this to Repaer

Thos is how you can enter / edit SysEx messages:
-- Open the MIDI item in the MIDI Editor
-- select the SysEx lane in the lower left corner (1)
-- double-click at the desired position (2) and type in the SysEx Data (excluding the leading F0 and trailing F7).

Hey guys!
I inform you that, with everyone's help, you managed to carry out the procedure.
I would really like to thank everyone who contributed.
I inform you that the other topics that I ended up opening, in other forums, have been deleted.
Sorry, I didn't know I couldn't!
Thanks again to all!
