Default "Publishing" a recording ??

Now I have made my first recording - some MIDI and vocals.

Now I want to "collect" it all in ONE WAV- or MP3-file and "publich" this file.

I have recorded the MIDI signals into a audio track, but what about the vocals ?

Should it all be send to one single stereo track ... ????

How do I end up with "THE FILE" to publish ?

you should mix everything together. or dont you want to have the vocals in the file?

mix it together and render it to wav as 24bit/44.1khz.

after that you can always decide to make it mp3 or 16bit wav (CD), but you have the original.

from your question I derive that you are a newbie? (no pun intended, erverybody has started as a newbie ... ) so you should consider maybe talking with some other people with more experiences if it is wise to publish some midi-files with vocals probably not proper mixed, regarding the kind of question you had?

maybe you could post some parts of your mixes here so that people can say something about it and improve it?

btw: are that your songs? if not, you are not allowed to publish it. would be a copyright infringement.

I think there is a terminology problem here. I think by "publich", the OP is looking to say 'render'.

See section 18.4 "Rendering a Project" in the Reaper User Guide.
