Default [SOLVED] This project file causes Reaper 6.37 to crash

This project file causes Reaper 6.37 to crash. It did not crash in Reaper 6.36.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/10eA...ew?usp=sharing

Try opening and then adding any FLAC or WAV files into the tracks. Reaper will crash at some point...

Apologies, here you go:

* Provide steps to reproduce the bug

- Make sure Audio Out is set to ASIO4ALL (version 2.15 beta 1) in Reaper
- Open Project
- Add FLAC or WAV track
- Reaper will crash randomly depending on how many tracks are added

* Describe what you expect to happen and what happens instead.

Reaper should not crash when adding files or trying to save the project as another file, but does.

* List your computer specs
This should always include:

- Windows 11 Pro for Workstations build 22000.258
- Reaper 6.37 x64.

- Soundcard: M-Audio Air 192-6
- Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2690 v4 (2 processors)
- 192GB DDR4 ECC RAM

* Create a little project demonstrating the bug

* Please post error/crash messages!

(assuming ASIO4all updating doesn't fix)

Can you enable the installer option to have REAPER crashes make dump files, then trigger the crash, then zip and send us the dump file (it will end up in %LOCALAPPDATA%\CrashDumps )? Thanks

Hmmm... Not seeing an option on the installer to configure as such and can't use Windows to create the dump file since it crashes out completely. Gonna try with the new ASIO4All and see if that solved the problem first...

So far no crashes. I'll give it some more projects and see if I run into the same issue. The ASIO4All update might have taken care of the issue.

Default Solved

OK, 5 more projects without a crash! Must've been the ASIO4All. Once I updated no issues. Problem solved!
