Default Double Xs on window borders?

I regularly see this: https://i.imgur.com/3eJeQUY.png

And then a few clicks later it is back to normal: https://i.imgur.com/fcezfeu.png (well with a big space on the right). Happens when I open preferences, render etc but it doesn't happen all the time.

EDIT: Seems to be related to the Breeze windows decorations in Manjaro KDE. When I change it to something else, the issue disappears.

REAPER is the only application I can find that has issues with Breeze so I assume it is a REAPER (Linux) bug?
