making a switch
I'm planning to make a switch for selecting bewtween 2-3 guitars to one DI box that is connected to my audio interface.
It's a AB switch according to http://beavisaudio.com/projects/looperswitcher/
There's no risk of destroying the audio interface by doing so?

No risk to audio interface at all, don't worry. Why do you think you would destroy audio interface? Is is the same signals as usual, you just switch between two.

Have a look at Wobo guitar electronics in poland. I inherited one of their fabulous powered, buffered AB twin loop pedals. http://www.woboge.com
They have some very cool extremely well built stuff.
Should give you some good ideas especially in terms of buffering for safety`s sake.
Edit: Bugger! Site has been assimilated by some japanese fruit selling site. Sadly it looks like they may have gone under. Yep. Went under in 2013 according to the facebook page. Superb quality with relays doing the switching, so there is guaranteed to be zero noise during switching and no degradation of your audio signal. Wondering if I should use this when I am playing lap steel and regular guitar through two different effects chains at the same gig. Funny, as my one is immaculate having sat unused since 2014 in my bits & bobs drawer! My old pal Bernie will be grinning smugly down on me if I decide to go this route. He always was a perfectionist!

Thanks!
I'm not into electronics and all solutions I found on the net except for the one I mentioned, include resistors and stuff to avoid pops.

Yep - if you want properly clean changeovers and no degradation you really do need something with buffering at the very least/

so how do I do that?
Where to put the resistors and what values?
Or skip it and say a prayer before every switch

Wish my WOBO did 3 guitars rather than two switchable fx loops & one I/O.
I would gladly sell it to you, but no use for what you want. Check on Reverb & see if there is anything on there from Wobo and others that would do the trick.
