Default MIDI Chords

Hi All,

I'd like to be able to type in chords from chord charts on sheet music. Is there a way, or a plugin, or something that I can type a chord from the keyboard like:

Am9

hit enter on the keyboard and have that chord entered into the MIDI editor? I want something where I could just type it in, then hit enter and have it put that chord in.

I've tried ChordGun, and Lokasenna's script. But I want to enter things like:

Am9
Am(sus B)
Em(sus F#)
Bsus4

For instance, I can't find Am9 in either ChordGun of the Lokasenna tools. If there's a way to get some specific chords from those that might be the solution.

Thanks

There's not that much theory involved in working it out. For weird stuff there's always YouTube. Also, there are different inversions, do you want the root note if there is a bass guitar etc. I tried auto generators etc but I settled on just knowing the formula - a minor 9 = 1, b3, 5, 7, 9 etc.
