I suggest the following implementation in Reaper:

Window with the list of currently Latched (Actively Writing) parameters.

The list could contain the following columns:

Track number | Track Name | Parameter | Value

for example:

01 | Kick | Volume | -2dB
02 | Snare | Volume | +1.5dB
03 | Snare | Gate Threshold | -15dB

Additionally it could be coupled with presets that could be recalled and punched in while using Latch & Latch Preview automation modes.

I’d use this.

I could check for errors and via buttons or context menus remove latches for individual parameter, plugins and track parameters.

You could even latch parameters via
context/track list/ -volume -pan -pan2 -sendvol..... , insertfx/param1 etc. , insertfx2/param2, etc.
