Default Weird experimental metal hardcore

Hello.
Here's an album I've made with Reaper.
Almost all stock plugins except for a few.
It's not the first I've made but I thought this time it could have been useful to ask for some competent opinion.
It's a mix of extreme metal with hints of hardcore and noise.
I would describe it as sloppily recorded and clumsily produced, but at least sincere and original and some interesting ideas here and there.
Take your pick:

Yes, this is he. I haven't been posting for ages, how could you possibly remember??
I've changed the name because people kept asking if I was Russian and I kinda thought it was inappropriate towards them.

Anyway, I got the message: too much reverb.
And to think that I've employed cutting-edge Soundfont technology from the early 2000s for this stuff.

Hey, how could I NOT remember someone doing metal with TR606. Sounds crisper and more hi-fi than the old stuff - eightiness of drums comes more from their single-shot nature than the reverb. Same with the sampler bass. Kinda only low-fi elements left

That was one of the stupidest thing I've ever done, and I've done plenty. I vividly remember the frustration at the obvious hurdles the endeavour presented...no kidding!

I don't think so. Concerning recording techniques and technology employed, my last couple of efforts may rival your 90s gear-suck revival project; just a few years later. Different lo-fi, but lo-fi nonetheless. Although, to be frank, this is much less self-aware...I really should upgrade some of my gear.

Well commenting on own lack of self-awareness seems acutely self aware to me!

Yeah that gear suck project. The fact someone bothered to make a detailed sforzando instrument off a crustiest 1980s drumkit was one of the internets highlights. I even have a second project stub with it, might even complete it one day, it's just pretty hard to do because you have to mix something that sounds like Fine Young Cannibals overdosing paint thinner.

Sure, but I mean, in this case it's kind of "halfway", so to speak. Stuff like thrash metal with 606 or the gear suck project are more "out there" in their ironic audacity, whereas here the "suck" wasn't completely intentional; it's partly due to real reluctance to upgrade/laziness/lack of commitment/lack of budget, if that makes sense.

I think you should. In fact, I went back and listened to it again and it's way too hi-fi; even kind of hip! Hopefully there will be more obvious crumminess in part 2.

I remember an interview with the Melvins when they asked about their more "independent" sound vs. their "mainstream" sound and King Buzzo answered: "You mean a bad sound??" or something like that. I don't think that's completely true, there is music that sounds good but not polished, but I thought that was hilarious.

Not usually my kind of thing, but I enjoyed listening to this album. I may have low standards, but I thought the production was pretty good, tight, clean and well balanced. I didn't think it was weird though, sorry.

Thank you all for the comments, gentlemen.
People who hang around here usually know a lot about the craft so it's very valuable feedback.

I see. For the standards of heavy rock/metal, sometimes I think I add weird things; but I understand that for somebody from a different realm it may not be so.

I could only wish! I love Rob Flynn's singing, so intense.

Listened to the first track.
Liked it. Like the rock guitar sound, instead of the metal sound.
The vocals fluctuated in volume.

You mean from section to section or within the same part? If it's the latter, I have much trouble keeping the vocals consistent in volume. I'm not sure if I'm using compression the wrong way or not enough automation or if it's the way I record, any suggestion is welcome.
