Move items and automations items together?

Hi guys!

I had some free time to investigate the new automation item that have so many potential.
It's awesome!
BTW I suggest a random and sample & hold option for the LFO curve.
Also a fade in and fade out will be amazing.

Anyway, my first BIG frustration concerning the automation items is that it seems to have no way of interacting with the items and automations items at the same time.
No way to move the items, to mute the items, to expand the edge, to stretch, etc…
Why there is no option to treat them as some normal items? They are items too at the end.
It would be awesome!

you can certainly move automation items, and if you move the item, the automation items can follow that movement. With the same setting as envelope points move with media items.

maybe a better name would be automation containers, but too late to change the name now

Mmh I feel dumb.
I understand what was going on.

First: The option: "Envelope points move with media items" was disable when I tried that.
Second: Even if I have the option activated, it didn't work when the automation items are on folder track. It's logical and it can be easily solved by using dummy text items.

With regard to moving AIs with Media Items: There are still several bugs and inconsistencies, as discussed in the Automation Item pre-release thread, but hopefully these will be sorted out at some stage.
