Download newest version of Reaper

Hello All
My question is this. When you download the newest version of Reaper do all your projects and VST logins and effects remain in the Reaper program?
I'm having a problem with burning a CD for my project and think it may be a bug. I'm not sure because I'm a newbie when it comes to using DAW's. Any info on this would be great.

Installing a new version will preserve all your settings, plug-ins, projects etc. Yes, for sure, of course...
