[choir + guitars] "history in a water-glass"
This is a song about the general conditions of our life on earth.
The distanced view allows an interesting classification, so that the
whole human history seems like a storm in a water glass.

On our website the song is enriched with a small animation: "history in a water-glass"
Enjoy!

Really enjoyed this song - love the combination of choral and metal tones. It's great to have access to a live choir! I felt that in some places, the music could have been a bit fuller, but overall an excellent track. Thanks!

interesting song. i feel like the mix is still not finished. everything sounds a bit too dry. for my taste anyway. but yeah, there's a roger waters vibe there.

Thank you! I never thought of Roger Waters -
that's a nice association, too much of an honour!

I am glad you could enjoy it!
And yes, a live choir is great, but it is also much time to invest.
And with Corona everything - in the middle of the recordings - had
to be stopped. Well, luckily we could finish the song anyway!
And thanks for the "fuller" advice. I will look at that.

Thank you for listening!
And yeah, "dry" in the sense of "minimal" would be good - and
was our intention. But "too dry" is not good ... mmh?
Maybe we should give it another go ... thank you!

I do not like the mickey mouse effect on vocal and why is it only for one second and then it's gone and then again for one second, keep your voice natural or have this kind effect all the time imo what is it a pitch correction or vocoder or melodyne? The rest sounds very well.

Ooops,
Are you sure you listened to "History in a Water-glass"? I find it a
little difficult to understand what you're referring to. In any case:
Thanks for listening!

At 1:04 you can hear it very prominently, this strange mickey mouse effect and again at 1:09 and later again. The vocals are speed up for a second or a fx was added, I guess

Ah yes, this is the second part of the chorus. Here the vocals
are a bit higher, a bit faster. It's deliberately designed that
way - as a last increase of the drama, as the climax of the song!
By the way, the vocals are sung exactly the same way - the only
effects here are equalizer and compressor.

Thanks!
For now this song stays as it is. It's much easier than
all our other songs, but that's also good in a way.
