Change GUI size
Is it possible to enlarge a GUI which itself is too small? Let me explain: The tool in question is this one below, and a very useful and practical tool for working on orchestral articulations for my working method. I tried to edit the .png but only to darken and saturate the colors. To get a slightly bigger GUI, is it better to act on the SCRIPT ?? Is there anyone who can direct me to the right script string to get a slightly bigger GUI ?? Thanks in advance ...... Spookye

Yes that's how you'll have to do it. Moving this to the scripting forum.

I'll have a look to see, how much work it would be.
Can't do it though, as I lack the time to do so. But maybe, it's done with a few changes.
Btw: what do you mean exactly by larger? Twice? 1.25x? You can also make a screenshot of the current window and draw into it, how big you would want it to be.

Thanks Meo for your reply.
Yes, right. Zoom in on the tool about double or in any case similar to the green line drawn by me.
This tool opens without the colored icons as you see in the images. To get the window with the colored icons you have to drag up to get them.
But in BOTH CASES the window is very small.
To make you understand, I compared it with two effects .... I hope it is understandable. The icons and writings also seem unclear, but I managed to saturate them a bit through image editing.
Enlarging the tool would be better.
Thank you for your interest.

Ok, I've checked and tried to change it, but it's more difficult to do than I thought.
I'm currently totally stuck with adapting the mouse hover&clicks properly(they need to be resized too, or the clicks expect the old size and position, not the resized one).
I'm still not sure, whether recoding it would be easier(to fix some issues as well) or if I can still adapt it.
I'll try again within the next few days.

Unfortunately no. It's possible to do it but I lack time too much to finish it up.
I can send you my unfinished version with notes, what needs to be done so somebody else can finish it.
The resizing is done, it's just clicking, that needs debugging and the very small icon-view needs to be checked and adjusted.
Currently, you can click only on the first articulations in the normal view, but the higher articulations have some kind of offset, so you don't affect the clicked one, but rather one or two below it, which makes it unusable currently.

...Thanks for the reply. So I guess it's tiring and quite boring. If it is a job that is not possible, rather abandon it. I see. It is a tool that was born for FLStudio and that the developer has adapted for Reaper .... so it will have a different packaging. Too bad, because those slightly larger windows wouldn't have spoiled the eyes. I tried to write to the developer on the site where he donated the tool. I mentioned the problem to him. Who knows ... maybe he'll answer me. It doesn't do anything, I'll use it like this by putting my nose on the screen. Thank you very much for your help and interest. You have been very kind. Thanks

If the developer responds, gimme a note and he can get my unfinished code. He'll probably knows better some of the tedious stuff to adapt and has the work halfway done that way due my work.
As I said, visual resizing is already done, as far as I can tell. Only mouse-stuff needs to be finished, which the original developer probably can do in a few hours.

Ok ... I would like to try to find someone else who can help me with this script. The friend M-A Mespotine tried but some difficulties and little time, I think he preferred to abandon. I am grateful to him anyway for paying attention to this. Thanks M-A Mespotine.
- The script link is in the post at the top (# 1).
-It is a tool for inserting articulations in orchestral composition, it works well, it is practical but has a flaw: The layout is too small It was born for FL Studio but the developer was generous, he also developed it for Reaper. Generous in size too.
-Is there anyone who can try to see the script and try to resize the layout?
-Thank you in advance .... even if the request is unsuccessful.

Hi M-A Mespotine .... I don't understand. What does this cough mean? I thought you made it clear to me that it's too long a job for you, but I never thought you weren't capable. And I'm not the one who presses to get, your time is yours. I can't be unkind and appropriate it. So I thought about relaunching the S.O.S Hope you're not offended. What you did initially was a great help to me. And I'm really grateful to you. But I can't bore you to insist. I'm not like that. If I did not understand something ..... explain to me A greeting.
