2nd Pass Render seems to crash, and other fussy phenomema

2nd Pass Render seems to crash. Will try to locate logs.

Beginning to consider the possibility that there is something wrong with the Windows 11 and/or my hardware.

Yet, the 2nd Pass Render does regularly induce a reaper crash
(among other things like dropping a VST on a track while playing).

If anyone has wildly alternative approaches to diagnosing a fussy system, I'm open to hearing experiences.

EDIT: Read the Stop All Scripts sticky in this sub, & will try that. Also, happy if anyone can share if/how to delete a thread if one realizes there's probably a better sub to create the thread on?
