Default How to copy and drag item to another track, keeping its position unmoved

When I want to move an item to another track, I press "shift" and drag it and its timeline position keeps unmoved, you cannot move it to the sides. I forgot whether this "shift" is default or I created this function. Holding "ctrl", the item is being copied. But holding ctrl + shift together, I would expect (similarly like in Samplitude) that you copy the item, drag it, and it cannot move it to the sides. But it does not work here, you copy it but it can be moved to the sides even when you hold shift together with ctrl.

Is there any way to copy the item to another track and keep its original position absolutely firm, unmoved ?
