Default Pitch/tempo change after rendering

I recorded 4-tracks of audio (mic and guitar) added a few simple (Reaper-native) plug-ins (Amp Modeler and EQ) and after rendering the pitch is up by two keys (vocals sound like chipmunks) and it's faster.

I'll include links to my project settings and render settings. I'm kind of new to Reaper (moving away from PT) and think maybe has something to do with sampling rates? I tried to make sure they're the same.

Any help much appreciated.

tl;dr - Rendering a mix speeds it up and changes pitch.

Hi,
Sounds like sampling rate mismatch.

Sorry I missed u saying that.
I looked at your settings...all looked fine, cept the low setting for render resampling.
But I'm stumped.

Hi--

How much of a pitch change is it? if it's very close to 1/2 step(E to F, for example) then you have a mismatch of 44.1k<-->48k samples.

Also verify that the Rate slider under the main window is centered and reads 1.0. This bit me once, causing much distress.
