Trackpad swiping

Hi folks,

I'm not sure whether what I see is the intended behavior, but I was expecting that vertical two-finger swiping over the arrangement window to pan/scroll accordingly. Instead, I get horizontal zoom in/out, as if the trackpad sends scroll wheel events. Swiping vertically over the track headers does the trick, just as mouse scrolling used to.

Is there any way to use swiping strictly for panning/scrolling in the arrangement window? I'd rather use the pinch gesture to zoom in and out.
