Went back to the original faders but kept the other changes.
Thanks for the wake up call Michael, I got a bit carried away!

Any suggestions are welcome. Kudos to the originators of the
themes used here.

I've lightened up the backround to work with the new icons better. I hope this gives the theme more contrast.

I'm still looking for some different faders to really set it off.
I'll try to think of something......kind of in a rut at the moment.

Default woody theme

It looks great!

but look, some one has to say this...

Is there any way you could incorporate beavers into this theme? Like in the faders or something?

IMHO, many many beavers is better then one big beaver.

S-N-S

I don't have access to that theme. I think it was taken off the site. Are there elements from this theme you would like to see that are available from an available theme in the archives? Let me know, I would be happy to incorporate them.

Default beavers

hey, i realize this might sound like i'm joking, but i not. i really think this could be a cool theme that people would want. so i'll plead my case again.

if the wood theme was glossed up to fit a cheesey 70's romance theme (maybe even some shag carpet and big sideburns) and the faders were made into beavers that resemble the playboy bunny, tell me that wouldn't be supafly.

anyway i realize that if i truly felt strong enough about this i'd do it myself, oh well.

cheers

i want the background brown hessian. then i want orange velour trim and untrimmed pubic hair flourishes. can we have the transport controls resembling an early toploading betamax recorder?

is it possible to make it smell of patchouli?

Default excellent!!

see, my man has Got the Vision. i recomend using the rennisance painter Titian for pubic reference. Titian devoted alot of time and energy to perfecting his mastery of that region, many agree he was the authority on painting the female pubic bush... Ah the beauty of a Titian Bush...

But even if it is found best to keep it PG, a 70's theme would be so Right On!! I know you have the skill to do it!

I don't think there's any possible way to do this, but I think it would be awesome if the VU meters looked like handfuls of twigs and leaves being thrown into the air over and over.

Mixmaster T, I really love your wood themes.
Do you have a link to everything you've ever done?

I liked all the Jpegs of this version. Event the high tech faders in the first one were cool.

I'd love to know when these are done and where I can get any and every version of the wood themes you've made.

Keep up the good work!

Default Will the Real Wood please stand up

Being a craftsman I would (or wood) like these themes, but the wood bitmaps look fake like vinyl or some other cheap wannabe. The only real looking wood I've seen in a UI is the mahogany on EZ Drummers mixer. It looks like real wood with a high gloss finish, Very cool

Thanks for the comments! All of them were created from various parts of themes originated by the talented artists in our community.
Check out the latest version, currently my favorite....

Follow the Redwood theme thread in this forum to change the woodgrain colors. I'll post this theme version along with this mixer template for the color variation in reply later tonight. (just getting off work now)

Here is a link to the current Redwood theme folder, which also includes 3 track color templates and a 24 track mixer template. Enjoy!
