Does anyone know why Waves API wont Install

New to Reaper, yes I am a noob! Thank you very much. (In Elvis voice!). Does anyone know why the Waves API plugin won't install in Reap 3.35.

check your default vst folder location in preferences plugins/vst or something like that, it should be directed to where the waveshell is. usually c:/program files steinberg/vst plugins, or c:/program files vst . you can make a new folder yourself and store specific vst's in it, say like compressors in one, synths in another etc, just add them to your vst preferences ...... hope this helps ......322
