Anyone use the MOTU 8pre?

I'm looking to get this interface and wanted to know if anyone had experience with it and what their experience was like. I haven't used any MOTU gear before so i'm not sure if i should expect great quality or not. i was contemplating getting the Presonus fire studio tube. can anyone compare the two?

i also wasn't sure what forum to put this in.
