For my Master's degree, I decided to explore Reaper as a tool for orchestral film composition. Initially, I was discouraged until I came across Tack's Reaticulate, which improved my workflow significantly.
I put my album, Silmarillion Film Sketches, up on Bandcamp, but it's also available on all streaming services. I highly recommend listening until the end (the last track is my favorite).
This album highlights several stories, locations, and characters from the book "The Silmarillion" by J.R.R. Tolkien. Silmarillion Film Sketches is a demo soundtrack, created as if the book had been made into a film. The sounds and atmosphere of Howard Shore's work in the Lord of the Rings movie trilogy directed by Peter Jackson were heavily influential. You may also hear inspiration from Mahler, Puccini, and Copland.

I'd love to answer any questions you have about my process. Would a video be helpful?
