Default Separate ARM Installation

Hello,

On my M1 MBP, I have a non-Arm install and I would like to install a separate ARM instance of Reaper to begin migrating over time as plugins allow. I am new to Mac, and I am not sure how to direct a 2nd Arm install to my SSD. The package does not give me an option of where to put it (perhaps because it sees an existing instance?). Sorry for the Newb question, but help is appreciated.

Easy.

1. Download the ARM .dmg to get the reaper.app
2. Start Intel REAPER and go to to menu: "Options" then "Show REAPER ressource path in finder..."
3. copy the ARM reaper.app to this folder
4. Drag both versions to your MacOS doc

Now you have both the ARM and the Intel app in the same REAPER folder, using the same ressources and settings!

You may switch every time, works like a charme.

I'm using both versions on my M1 mac.

both apps (differently named) are in the same folder with the reaper config.

in the user plugins folder I have both versions of sws and reapack extensions.

Thank you both. Now I just need to change the icon so that they don't look the same in the dock!
