Default Way to limit random track colors to certain range of colors?

Hi- I'm wondering if there's some kind of color 'scheme' or palette within Reaper that is used to choose random colors from when coloring tracks. It seems like, for me, Reaper likes to choose mainly odd shades of green and purple- making me suspect there might be some kind of palette in there already (maybe as part of the theme I use?).

Is there a way to limit the colors Reaper chooses as random colors?

Not sure about the default 'Set Track to Random Color' function. Although you might try using the Action Colors: Reset random color generator.

But I think that using the Random Color Action of the SWS Extensions chooses a Color randomly from the defined Custom Colors: http://www.sws-extension.org/color.php

yes what solger says is a clue... use the sws colors and define your own palette so that it only has the range of colors you want... and use the random colors in the sws colors extension...
...should be fixed for the next build... http://tinyurl.com/cr7o7yl
