Default record meter colour

does someone know how to change/adjust the red colour of the record meter?

I'm afraid you have still not defined what red colors of record meter(?) you mean and in what theme.

The numbers on meters (e.g. set tcp.meter.scale.color), where after ?recarm you define the color if track is record armed? Or the meter display itself, which can be set either in theme tweaker (VU meter settings) or with appropriate images (e.g. meter_strip_v.png), if available in given theme? You can copy those images from another theme.
