Default recording what I hear in earphones

Hi,

I am trying a way to record what I hear in my headphones and aside OBS I so far don't have an idea how to do it. I saw in other thread Audio Hijack suggestion but since I'm using Scarlett Solo I was wondering is it possible to have a cable that goes from output and back to instrument input (XLR is taken) AND provide way to plug in my headphones? (So it would be a cable with two male jacks and one input?) I'm a hobbyst and I don't know if such thing exist but it sounds like a way to do it.

Not sure if we're talking about the same thing here, but I've got a stereo splitter cable that I plug one end into my headphone jack, and then plug the other two ends into my 2 input interface.

I set one track input to mic 1 and the other track to mic 2.

I use it to hijack songs off of You Tube and such.

Oh no, the black SUV's are going to be pulling up to the house now.

Yeah I used OBS to record audio (video with black only and then sucking up the audio). The thing I came up since posting this question was to use Scarlett Solos RCA output in the back use RCA to jack cable and plug it back in on the front - this should be the simplest solution. I was thinking about jack splitter for headphones but I read it does distort the signal. I got amplified headphone splitter which would be my last option but I think the RCA hack should work. Waiting for the cable.
