Control+Alt dragging a Razor area is pretty handy, but noticed if the source track is set to envelopes in media lane and target isn't then all envelopes seem to end up on the first envelope lane. Maybe the expected behavior?... this shit is getting complicated!

@ Edgemeal this seems to work only with the old modifier , just copy or just move and not with ignoring envelope type and to me it doesn't make sense because i don't get what i see.
This should be possible also with ignoring envelope type modifier so we could move or copy even if the parameters don't match, it should match the number of lanes

Devs pleeeease, make the modifier ignoring envelope type an all around modifier, so we don't have any restrictions for copy/move anywhere.

We could use the normal copy/move to match parameters only. Also in the case of two tracks and the one with no visible envelopes but with same effects, at least allow us to copy with ignoring envelope type too and move only with just move modifier.

Also i think this have changed after some pre-release where we could move envelopes with ignoring type and they would match the number of lanes of the destination track.

For example i have 3 envelopes on target track and 2 on destination track. I select the first and third envelope of target track and what it should happen is to match the number of lanes (two in this case) and move them to the first 2 lanes of the destination track. On the contrary it moves just the first lane because there's no third lane on destination track.



It would be so easier and fast if this was possible

EDIT: With Cubase this was not a problem and the only reason is that it was possible to re arrange the envelope lanes. So for the above case i would move the third lane to the second and then move them to the first two lanes of the second track. But in Reaper we can't rearrange the lanes yet, so that's why would be so useful to be able and move/copy them as i explained above.
And this is just for when the destination track has less number of lanes from the target track. If it has same or more, it should move/copy normally as it works now: from 1-1.2-2,3-3 etc

would be so nice if we could be able to reorder lanes and also select multiple envelopes lanes in order to delete , hide, bypass, arm and of course reordering ...

I've tried several times and I'm not getting this behaviour; if there's no lane for an envelope in the target track the envelope displays in the media lane, or if I select 'Display envelopes in new envelope lane', a new lane is created.

i am just checking the media browser previewing and something seems not working well when "start on bar is enabled" . No sound with no apparent logic and clicking on a different time of the wav makes no sound too, is strange..

In media browser: selecting a partial of the audio file which we are previewing and dropping into a sampler or to finder (file system), does not export the partial which we selected and drop instead full file.

Which is not good, and does not make any sense for this use cases.

Also tempo matched loops in ME and then dropped into a sampler also don't keep the tempo, which would be very desirable at least optionally.

Probably you are not using the ignore envelope type modifier?
