Default MIDI Editor: "Piano roll timebase - Project synced" is not working anymore

I think "Piano roll timebase - Project synced" in the MIDI Editor is not working anymore. The ME ruler is not kept aligned with the project ruler. Can someone verify this, please? Win10, R6x64

Do you have the MIDI editor floating by chance?
Because there was a change sometime ago how project synced works:

Thanks nofish. Indeed, rulers are aligned only when ME in docker is not floating. That is really annoying! I quite regularly used this feature for aligning MIDI to Audio. Therefore, Devs: please bring this function back!

I hope that the manual needs no correction on chapter 13.46

I've encountered the exact same problem, just thought I've done something wrong with my setting.

Sync the midi timeline in the floating midi editor with project timeline is a MUST to align midi to audio, disaster for me too if it doesn't come back.

I usually edit my sloppy played midi to the audio track I sung.
