Default 1. killing them numbers! 2. no meter on armed trackt

1. is it possible to lose the numbers on level meters and panners?

i really do not need to know all the time whether my synth pad is at -36 db and if i have panned it 14 db to the right...

2. can i avoid selected tracks to be extended an show faders and meters? they should stay where they are, nice and slim!

3. can we put the buttons on the upper left of the arrangement on a diet? they are scary big.

i know not all of this is theming, it's just the visual aspect of reaper.

cheers

+1

I have a feeling it's built in and unchangeable. At least the ability to recolour the numbers would be great.

In the upcoming version 3 you can get rid of the db scales on the track meters

Extended or Armed?
Anyway, you can disable it. Check Options, Preferences, Recording settings.
You can disable showing meters in track panels also.

Not really. You can only minimize the track panel area and the buttons will get smaller. Or edit them in a graphics app to scale them down, but then the spaces between buttons will look disproportionately big.
The vertical toolbar area can't get smaller.
