Default [full linux setup] Bonaventura

Another recording in a full linux setup!

It's available via the links below in my sig (SoundCloud/YouTube/Spotify, and more)

The setup is:

Linux Mint 19 xfce , Reaper Daw, Mod Duo, Uhe Hive Synths, Ibanez semi-hollow body guitar.
Just check it out.

Feedback always welcome.
I did the artwork myself too with Inkscape

Cool stuff! I recently made the switch to full Linux, and I'm so glad I did. I've honestly had a lot less issues with plugins than I thought I would. It really showed me how little I actually used external effects (besides instruments). And bridged plugins are running just fine. My two latest tracks have been all full Linux. Now we just need to build up enough of us that plugin companies will take us seriously

What do you run your guitar through? Hardware or software? What do you use?

Thanks !

Well, my guitar is plugged into the ModDuo (https://www.moddevices.com/products/mod-duo).
And the ModDuo goes to a Focusrite Solo USB interface directly to the computer.

That ModDuo is a pedal where you can load numerous effects on and create pedalboards via the webbrowser. It's not cheap, but it runs on linux and is also community based. It has endless possibilities.

A free alternative would be http://guitarix.org/
But that runs via Jack, and I dislike Jack and work via ALSA.
I've had a lot of trouble with finding a good setup before, using Carla or Rakarrack... I tried lots of distros and DAW's before... but I think now it was my bad Behringer USB interface that didn't work well.... Maybe I'll try later with all the other alternatives, but for now I'm good.
